Former No.1 WEc 155-pound contender Donald " Cowboy" Cerrone (10-2) will face Ed 9MM" Ratcliff (7-1) in the WEC 45 this weekend. His loss to Benson Henderson during the WEC interim lightweight title considered as Cerrone's second loss in 2009 and planning to receive a rematch with "C-4". Prior to his two losses previously, Cerrone have an undefeated record with nine of his ten victories coming by way of submission.
But then again, Ed "9MM" Ratcliff return to the cage after winning over his contender Phil Cardella at WEC 42 which lead to rebound after his first professional loss at WEC 33 to Marcus Hicks. He is 3-1 in for the promotion, defeating Alex Karalexis and Johnny Sampaio, along with Cardella. With the vast majorities of his victories coming by way of knockout.
